Crawling is a creative outlet too!

Who knew that there are different ways to crawl?  I honestly never thought about it before.  Until now.  Yep, that's right, the boys crawl in their own unique way.

William holds his head high and looks at where he is going.  He keeps his back straight and when he pauses his hands are directly under his hands and his knees directly under hips.  Then he lifts his hands and knees high as he moves forward.  His movements are quick and exact.  It makes me think of a prancing pony who has been trained for a show.

Levi looks down at the floor ahead of him and goes to town.  He pulls with his arms and pushes with his knees and feet.  His tummy touches the floor mostly and that little butt is just wiggling back and forth.  He looks like an army boy in boot camp that needs to crawl with his belly in the mud and stay as low as possible.

They are adorable.

William just had a third tooth break through and has a fourth that will be close behind.  Levi still is waiting.  I feel for him because sometimes he seems uncomfortable and I'm sure he is teething but I see no evidence yet.  Even this is indicative of their personalities.

Papa is off to Houston for the next six weeks.  He is in training to upgrade his First Officer status to Captain!  Yay!  The boys are going to miss him lots and lots.  We hope there will be some chances to come home for a day or two but in the meantime we will be planning lots of Skype calls.

We are a little late in wishing everyone a happy new year.  May God bless you in each task you undertake.  And be sure to take time every day to reflect on the amazing grace of God.
