Children's Museum

I took the boys to the Grand Rapids Children's Museum to meet Amber and her girls.  It was my first time being there.  I thought is was very nice but I didn't think the boys were quite old enough to be there.  I was a bit taken aback at the price of admission.  It was $7.50 per person.  Yes, that even included one year old children.  If I were to take them three times it would more than pay for a membership.  Perhaps when they are older I will get a membership and I'm sure we will get our moneys worth out of it.  But for now that is way to steep for my pocketbook considering how few things there are for them to enjoy at their age.  They don't have the stamina to stay there for long anyway so a cost of $22.50 for two hours wasn't quite justified.

Okay, now that I have the negative out of the way on to the good stuff.  While we were there they did have a lot of fun.  I was nervous at first about how I was going to manage keeping track of two little rugrats but I just took a deep breath and let them loose.

We started out at the "grocery store" picking out juice and produce.

Laura mostly watched the other kids play.  It wasn't really her "thing."  Perhaps she is too mature to find this much fun.  Just kidding Laura, I love you.

William likes to plop down and lie on his back anywhere at any time.  Just because he can.

And this is the cart corale.  Ooooo how exciting.

Emily and Ava found a craft to work on.

There were some "funhouse" style mirrors that the boys got a kick out of.

They found some "rocks" to play with.

A bee keepers hat!  Makes me think of my grandpa...

William liked to take some of the "gravel" pieces and toss them down the traffic cones.

These are the two cutest pics I took all day.

He was using the little disks to slide along the floor.

Levi thought crawling on the floor was super fun.

That was about it for the boys.  I fed them a PB sandwich and a banana and then they slept on the way home.
