Got to see the boys again! They are doing great. Except Baby B is still breech. Little stinker. I've been talking to him every day since this ultrasound. I encourage him to do a flip and lie head down. Doug has even had a few discussions with him. This one definitely is going to have Doug's stubborn personality. Baby A will probably be more laid back like me because he doesn't move much. Just seems to be content where he is. B is quite the mover and shaker, or should I say kicker and puncher.
It was actually a challenging ultrasound. I was having a hard time being on my back because my blood flow would get pinched off and I started blacking out twice. Unfortunately I had my least favorite tech to work with that day. She wouldn't even try to do some of the ultrasound while I was on my side, she just kept waiting for me to feel okay enough to lie on my back. I have had other techs who are able to do part of the ultrasound while I am on my side. Maybe no one has shown her this technique. Oh well, hopefully I won't have her again.
The other reason she isn't my favorite is because she discounts and dismisses some of the things I say. When I told her it helps to have at least one of my legs propped up she asked why. I told her that it helped with the blood flow and keeping me from blacking out. She said the reason I had started blacking out was because I was making myself hyperventilate with the deep breathing I was doing. I just rolled my eyes and kept my mouth shut for the rest of it.
So I wasn't able to get any good pictures and she didn't even try for a 3D image because of my discomfort. Hopefully things will go better at the next one. Crossing my fingers. After all, I NEEEEED some cute pictures for their baby books :-)
