Today we celebrate our country's independence day. It happens to be that today the boys are 14 months as well.
So we started off the day with french toast for breakfast. How could you get more American than that? Ha ha! Then time to play and learn. And learn Levi did. He happened to see Grandma cleaning her ear with a q-tip. She thought she had her hand over it so that he couldn't see what she was really doing. Not a chance Grandma. He went off and found a toy, one of those wooden pegs from the old cobbler's bench, and proceded to put it up to his ear. What a little sponge! They sure soak up anything from their surroundings.
William started to say a new word today. "Baby" He just started saying it out of the blue. I wasn't sure he understood what he was saying until I had been working on my computer making a photo album. He was sitting next to me and saw the pictures of himself and Levi and then he would point one of them and say "baby." Such a proud Mama!
Happy 4th Everyone!
